Inventor-itis (noun):

A psychological condition affecting inventors, characterized by an excessive paranoia that their invention might be stolen, even under legally binding non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). This fear often prevents the inventor from gaining necessary support, feedback, or resources, and potentially inhibiting the successful development of their invention.

Testimonials:

“I am blessed to have one of the most rewarding vocations in life by assisting people to realize their vision. When I connect with a designer, visionary, or inventor and deliver the realization of an idea to see, hold and market their design product, I know that we have achieved our goal completely.” -Robert Harvey-
